The attraction is getting an overhaul, bringing back Figment alongside Dreamfinder. The whimsical inventor and his lovable purple dragon will reunite for a new journey into imagination—honoring the duo who first inspired EPCOT guests in 1983.

The legend will roar again

Disney is bringing the massive Yeti Audio-Animatronic back to life inside Expedition Everest. Hidden within the nearly 200-foot Forbidden Mountain, the legendary guardian will once again become a moving part of the high-speed Himalayan adventure.

From the torn tracks to the trailside museum filled with sightings and artifacts, the attraction’s mystery has always led to this unforgettable encounter—and now the star of the mountain is being restored to motion.

Disney Legend Jamie Lee Curtis will voice Sarah, while Emmy winner Bryan Cranston will voice John as the beloved family begins an updated journey through changing technology and American life.

A helpful robot, space travel and an out-of-this-world home imagine tomorrow through Walt’s optimistic lens.

Walt joins the story

A new opening scene will feature a Walt Disney Audio-Animatronic inspired by the 1964 television special Disneyland Goes to the World’s Fair, surrounded by carefully recreated props including a prototype Tiki bird and the Tower of the Four Winds model.

Welcome to Monstropolis

For the first time, humans are invited through the doors for H.U.M.A.N. Day—“Humans Understanding Monsters Are Nice.”

A city powered by laughter

Face to furry, scaly and fang-filled face

Set after the events of Monsters, Inc., the land celebrates the city’s historic decision to welcome humans. Guests will explore monster neighborhoods, meet citizens, sample one-of-a-kind cuisine and eventually race through the iconic door vault on Disney’s first suspended coaster.

Welcome to Monstropolis

Mike and Sulley host a homespun introduction to monster life at the Glob Theater—until showman Mike adds a few surprises. Disney Legend Randy Newman wrote the title song, his first composition created for a Disney theme park.

The famous restaurant from Mike and Celia’s date comes to life with a menu unlike anything else at Walt Disney World. A many-tentacled sushi chef Audio-Animatronic will prepare monster-worthy creations, with more than sushi on the menu.

A musical journey to the Land of the Dead and two epic Avengers missions are on the way.

The first-ever Coco attraction

Journey through Miguel’s memories

Set one year after the original film, this family-friendly boat ride begins near Pixar Pier inside a “casa museo” dedicated to Héctor Rivera’s music. Guests will join Miguel, Dante, Héctor and friends on an emotional voyage through memories of the Land of the Dead.

  • No height requirement—designed for the whole family
  • Characters and music from Coco, with nods to the upcoming sequel
  • Mexican culture and generations of family love at the heart of the story

Héctor’s casa museo

The queue welcomes families into a museum honoring Miguel’s great-great-grandfather and his musical legacy before the boat journey begins.

Opening in 2028

Avengers Campus doubles in size

The expanded campus will reconnect with Cars Land and add two major attractions filled with physical sets, immersive media and familiar heroes portrayed by their on-screen stars.

Avengers Infinity Defense

Ms. Marvel briefs new recruits on a mission to reassemble the Avengers and stop King Thanos. Guests will hurtle across Asgard, Wakanda and New York alongside Thor, Hawkeye, Captain America and Iron Man as massive sets blend with large-scale media scenes.

Starring Iman Vellani, Jeremy Renner, Anthony Mackie, Chris Hemsworth and Robert Downey Jr.

Stark Flight Lab

Board a two-person gyro-kinetic pod, roll into position before a giant robotic arm and whirl through high-speed training maneuvers inspired by Iron Man and other flying Avengers.

Believe in a new kind of magic at sea

The Disney Believe—the fourth Wish-class ship—will weave stories of optimism, family, nature and believing in yourself throughout its design.

The heart of the ship

A Grand Hall inspired by Moana

The central gathering space captures the optimistic spirit of exploration from the Moana films. Artisanal Polynesian finishes honor the region’s cultural traditions, while a bronze Moana—joined by Pua and Heihei—gazes toward new horizons.

  • Stories aboard will include Encanto, Frozen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Moana and The Little Mermaid.
  • Built at the Meyer Werft shipyard and scheduled to sail in late 2027.

An entirely new class of ships

Three additional ships will begin launching in 2029, growing Disney Cruise Line to 13 vessels. Sized between the classic Disney Wonder and the newer Disney Wish, the new class is designed to reach new destinations and welcome new audiences around the world.
